The East River Friendship Society (ERFS) is the federal group of the East River Community. The ERFS is a group dedicated to all the friends and supporters of the community. Through the ERFS we publish all the important news and public events of the community for inworld distribution.
Why a federal group?
The East River Community is a federation of groups where members share resources and expertise. Each of the groups making the federation are autonomous in the way they administer local governance, thus each group has its own way to deal with group members and group admissions. Furthermore, the Steering Committee determined that there was a need to have a centralized group that all the community managers could use to promote our initiatives and events.
